  1. Thank you for purchasing "Amateur Models - Volume 2" from Monster Pix, Inc.

  3. To install the Monster Media CD-ROM viewer, simply type INSTALL while in your
  4. CD-ROM root directory. If you wish to install ShowCD to a directory on your C:
  5. drive, press RETURN when prompted. Otherwise, enter another directory.
  6.  
  7. To view images when using ShowCD, you may press the F2 key to view them, or
  8. you may tag as many as you like and view them in the TAG BATCH menu.
  9.  
  10.  
  11. To achieve the finest results, we suggest viewing the JPG pictures thru
  12. Windows set at the hightest resolution your video card is capable of. A
  13. setting of 1024x768 16 million colors is ideal, but few video cards are
  14. capable of such a display. Monster Pix has licensed the use of ThumbsUp!
  15. for Windows to allow you to view images while in Windows. To start ThumbsUp!
  16. for Windows, choose the RUN command in Program Manager. Enter:
  17.  
  18. D:\THUMBSCD.EXE
  19. ^
  20. |................ Replace this with your CD-ROM drive letter.
  21.  
  22. ThumbsUp! allows you to choose images by browsing thumbnail images of all
  23. photos on the disc. Click to tag an image for a slideshow, or double-click
  24. to view immediately. If you would like to use this image viewer for other
  25. applications, please consider registering the shareware version included in
  26. the main directory of the CD-ROM disc.

  28. ThumbsUp Program Notes:
  29.  
  30.   1. If ThumbsCD has trouble finding the CD-ROM drive, or if a system has
  31.      multiple CD-ROM drives, the command line for the program should be
  32.      modified to specify the path to the database; i.e.:
  33.  
  34.      G:\THUMBSCD.EXE G:\THUMBS.TUD
  35.      ^
  36.      |............... CD-ROM Drive Letter
  37.  
  38.   2. For improved program performance, all or part of the ThumbsCD Package
  39.      may be copied to the user's hard drive. Any of the following may be
  40.      copied to a directory on the hard drive:

  42.      -->  THUMBSCD.EXE only.
  43.  
  44.      -->  THUMBSCD.EXE and THUMBSCD.HLP
  45.  
  46.      -->  THUMBSCD.EXE, THUMBSCD.HLP, THUMBS.TUD, THUMBS.TUX and THUMBSCD.REG
  47.  
  48.      Note that THUMBS.TUD, THUMBS.TUX and THUMBSCD.REG *MUST* always reside
  49.      in the same directory, and if moved from the CD-ROM, the command line
  50.      must be changed in Program Mnager to reflect the actual location of the
  51.      database; i.e.:

  53.      C:\WINDOWS\TU\THUMBSCD.EXE C:\WINDOWS\TU\THUMBS.TUD

  56. NOTE: ShowCD has been pre-configured to use Comp-U-Show 2000, an excellant
  57. image viewer. Comp-U-Show 2000 has been included for you in the MONSTER
  58. directory of the CD-ROM. To install, run the batch file, RUN_SHOW.BAT after
  59. installing ShowCD to your hard drive. Also, if you enjoy using this viewer
  60. and would like to continue using it, please consider registering it with
  61. the author.
